I build backend systems from first principles — search engines, e-commerce APIs. CS graduate from India, fluent in Java & Spring Boot, drawn to the parts of software that most people reach for a library to skip.
A search engine built from scratch. A BFS web crawler discovers pages, an inverted index stores them, and TF-IDF ranking surfaces the most relevant results — served over a clean REST API.
A production-style e-commerce backend built with Spring Boot — covering the full lifecycle of orders, inventory, and users with clean REST architecture and relational data modeling.

FunFetch came from wanting to understand how search actually works — not use Elasticsearch, but write the crawler, the index, the ranking function. That instinct shows up everywhere in how I approach problems.
